MHD Antilag

So i wanted to try out MHD rolling antilag but is it bad to continually use it? and will it be bad for a high flow cat?

read the MHD manual and cant find any warnings about using it, but seems one of those things that cant be good for the car! Any advice greatly appreciated!

Yes to both of those questions. Using antilag repeatedly in succession is bad for your turbo. Using antilag with any kind of catalytic converter is bad for the catalytic converter and can reduce its life.

I tried the anti lag once when it came out, it caused a check engine light so I took it out and never tried again

Im catless too and the first time I tried it I had that CEL. Does it make a big enough difference, and fun enough 🤙, to try again?

I have a 2017 340i with Dorch stage 2 hpfp, catless, MST intake, XHP trans tune, and running the e40 map w MHD. Tbh, the car is already a damn rocket, if it is really noticeable and fun I might take another crack at it.

To me anti lag feels slower when using it. Maybe I haven’t found the sweet spot setting, but I prefer to brake boost in a serious race.
