Hey, I am in need of some support;

My 440i with a MPE & Catless Downpipe has a rattle noise coming when the car is revved in comfort & when the car gets to around 2500rpm.

Video Attached: https://youtube.com/shorts/-HGPVISNg8s?feature=shared
(Valve closed)

When the valve is opened, it sounds normal, no rattles or weird noises.

(Valve Open)

What could the cause be for the rattle when the valve is closed / opening.

Thanks!

Figured out the fix - the midpipe exhaust clamp for whatever reason was getting loose on its own.

My shop tried tightening it on a larger part of the exhaust but it wouldn’t hold its place. I ordered a new part from BMW for around 50$ and replaced the clamp.

No more vibrations or rattle sound.
