Hugely disappointed and very concerned now with the M4. Corvette did a bold and dramatic upgrade to styling in the new stingray. I'm now not expecting that bold a statement from BMW with the M4. Time to look for alternatives.

Sadly, the thing that stood out the most to me was the rear armrest(vs. E92 M3). Looks great and usable. The rest of the car looks fresh and can't wait to see it in person.

That bimmerang thing looks really really bad, it really ruins the lines of the car and looks like a cheap add on (pep boys sticker as others have been commenting), also wtf is with the MASSIVE price difference? looks like i'll be grabbing the F30 in a few years rather than the f32. Maybe the m4 will get rid of it or an LCI

There seem to have been quite extensive changes to the chassis. Lowest CG of any current BMW is impressive. Bigger track increase in the rear will probably mean more understeer though.

I hope all of this translates into palpable handling improvements, and i sure hope they fixed the floaty disconnected feel of the sedan.

Anyway, when i consider the asking price and myriad of useless gizmos, looks like I'm out of the 3/4 series market. 2 series / M2 looks very promising though...

I understand that they are trying to make the 435i more like the S4. But I wish they would show some restraint with the M badge. It would be nice if they kept it exclusive for true M cars, but its too late for that.

Jason - There's some incorrect info in your summary: The E92 M3's coefficient of drag is 0.30. The press release says that the F32 has the same lift characteristics (which means very minimal lift) as the E92 M3 on the frontend. Does not say that they have the same drag coefficient (and they shouldn't, the M3 needs a lot more cooling than the engines in the F32). This is a big improvement for high speed stability

Meh, looks ok I guess. Need to see it in person. Too similar to F30 though, except for the boomerang garbage. I do like the little ///M badge placement surprisingly. Even if it does confuse and dilute the true M line it at least looks good.
