I only have the default "comfort" setting in idrive, although the VIN decoding says I have S563 - Light package option, which should enable me the "sport" option in idrive.

Anyone knows if the setting can be coded?

Did you look under interior lighting in your menu? That's where I changed mine.

563 Ambient Lighting is different from 2TB Sports Automatic Transmission.
With 205 Automatic Transmission, you get Eco, Comfort, and Sport.
With 2TB you also get Sport+ & paddles.

Do you have rocker switch next to gear to change drive mode?
There are two different sport menus. There is Sport Config and Power & Torque. The ladder requires 609 Professional Nav.

My apologies, the term "sport" did confuse things. I'm talking about this:

I don't have the Ambiance option, giving me the "Classic" and "Sport" modes.
I've just been in E-Sys, going up and down the ECU's searching for the term "farbe", and all I could find (possibly related) was

It has 5 or 6 other options. I tried them, but it didn't change a thing..

Everything was already as you described, except MAPPING_LCI_4_FUNCTION = off, which in mine reads footwell_rear. (I have an F31...don't know if it's relevant)

I found COLOUR_SWITCH in the NBT, and set it to active. And now it shows the field in the idrive. I also had to activate COLOUR_SWITCH_LINES to "sport", in order for an option to appear in that field. (You can also choose "luxury", "modern", etc...)

Unfortunately, I don't seem to have the proper hardware because no matter what I code/choose, "sport", "classic", "luxury", etc, the LED's remain orange.

FYI, I also found COLOUR_SWITCH_ENSEMBLE, which enables a field just below the first one, with a set of 7 or 10 schemes, depending on the coding option.

7-10 schemes is for BDC_Body vehicles like F15.

Well, is there a way that I can actually verify if I also have the white LED's? For now, I convinced myself that I don't. But I haven't given up completely yet
Also, I read somewhere (in a 5 series forum?) that the "standard" line only has orange (classic) lighting. Only Sport, Urban, and Luxury lines have the other colors. And mine is a "standard" line

My F010 is set to aktiv and modern. I thought some of those settings affected navigation map schemes.

I also have that, but I never touched it before, because I believe it only concerns the maps colour schemes graphical representations. What might that have anything to do with the LED lights?

We must be thinking about different things again.
I also have an option somewhere inside the NAV menus, in the idrive, to change the color schemes of, what I believe to be, the maps. I don't think it has anything to do with the LED's, though. Otherwise, why would that option be included in the NAV menus?..

The COLOUR_SWITCH and COLOUR_SWITCH_LINES that I activated in the NBT, yesterday, are for the Light menu in the idrive, and do concern the LED lighting, because if I deactivate those codes, I stop having the option in the Light menu (idrive) again. Also, every time I go to the menu, nothing is selected. I have to choose Classic or Sport again. (nothing happens, as previously stated..)

I'll probably take a look at the ETK, and see if I can buy the LED modules with white "sport" color. Maybe they're not too expensive, and worth the cool look (in my opinion, of course).

You need to code BDC FA code 563 (lights package option) to enable output signal on pin53-54 of A258*9B BDC connector, and P4V9 code option (excitment light package) to activate pin 52 output.
