i paid here in sweden 3000 euros and i got all 4 rotors but if you buy aftermarket you get only front for that price. you can look at ebay.com they have good prices and sometimes without the back rotors so read description before you buy, and remember to code them or else they are USLESS!

Prices vary based on the color.. Did your dealer break down the price by parts & labor? What color did you ask about?

The 3k quote was for red ones $1840 red kit + $400 rear rotors + tax + 6 hour labor
Now, I did found that the yellow ones run $700 less that the other colors as you said and I pulled the trigger. I'm Getting it installed on Monday for $2300
$1288 yellow kit + $400 rotors + tax + 6 hour labor.

Yeah, I have a good friendship with my adviser and I get 20% on parts all the time.
I also want some new wheels like yours but not black and 19" 8.5/9.5 I think 10 is to much for the rear. I like those m5 19 reps but not sure about reps quality. I need something with less spoke to show off my brakes Will be hard to see them with the 403m.

I like the trend towards brakes being a cosmetic mod first with improved braking performance being the cherry on top.

Well, the thing is from M Sport to M Performance brake kit is not much on improvement braking side. I think is better on different weather conditions. That's what people said in here. It has to have a better performance for sure but don't know how much.

With the dimpled/slotted rotors, all else being equal (calipers and pads), you're only improvement will be in wet weather braking performance. There will also be a bit better heat dissipation in the Performance rotors thanks to the slots.

My comment was a general one. For all BBK upgrades discussed on this board, for 99.9% of the drivers on here, the OEM base level brakes (non M Sport/Performance) are more than plenty. Upgrades to M Sport or Performance has a lot to do with the cosmetic improvement versus the need for better brakes.

Got it. If mine was the M-Sport blue one, I wouldn't be upgrading to M Performance. But since was the silver one with the crappy rear one that has one piston, I pulled the trigger.

Here is an update with the brake install in the first picture. Front lip and side rocker panel in the second pic.
Also they are kind off soft than my silver M Sport. They start breaking too way low. Been reading that the problem are the pads that are to soft. Dont know if it true.

if you get tired of the brake dust, like I did, let me know I will post the part # for power stop ceramic pads that will decrease the brake dust by over 50% with same braking power. looks good.

have them check it when i first got my car i had the same issue then i went and checked the car with esys and i saw that they didnt code the car BUT they said "it is coded and its normal" well guess what i said i took it to another dealer and showed them that the car isnt coded at all and i can sue them this is very dangerous if driving and they stop funktion or not giving STIFF/HARD brake so go back tell them this isnt normal and if something hapens to my kid/wife/me i will shure come back here and sue the company....they will propably change the pads to just tell them i was almost near death today the car didnt want to brake when pushed hard it just didnt....be for real with them

then they took the car in and they told me yes there is an issue with ur car to. they reinstalled them with grease and all and coded them in now they are wonderfull much better then orignial for shure...and even stiffer then before
