For handling... It's very close to the comfort of stock but without so much of the floating feeling. Just a little more composed. :thump:

Looks great. I ordered my set yesterday night, now I'm just waiting to receive them, and find a place to install.

So. The part numbers confirmed. Install this week. In the meantime I ordered the mppk and will get that done too. More to come. Hopefully happy reports this Friday!

My shop (Imola Motorsports) charged me around $650 with alignment.

This seems to be on the high side so I wouldn't pay any more!

Most BMW dealerships will blast you on this install since Dinan says 10 hours which is murder. Since these are just springs... install is relatively straight forward, you can take to any decent independent place.

Finally got my baby back - quick review…more later.

1. Drop - is perfect - couldn't be happier. Pics soon.
2. Feels fine over bumps (a bit more noticeable than comfort, but when i say a bit, that's it).
3. Handling - noticeable - very nice, flatter in the turns and just feels more responsive.
4. Very happy with this. Why not offer this set up for the drive m sports from the factory!

Can't wait to see pics. I'd love to see some taken from the side with the camera about the same level as the top of the wheel.

Has Dinan ever commented what the actual issue was with the original design? They delayed release so long that I'm surprised there was an issue at all. I've been waiting for these for awhile now.

I have not heard of this issue in our group running these springs.

Do you have the modified Dinan bump stops or did you stay with the stock setup?

Could that be the culprit?

I believe I addressed this earlier in the thread.

Bumps are 'sharper' than stock but nope not having any issues like that. I'm running the Dinan mod bumpstops.

Sorry to hear , mine are perfect. If anything the ride is better, damping feels great, less banging over bumps. Sounds like you have a problem. I should know, I was one of the unlucky ones who had problems with the springs my first time. Had to back to OEM, this time they are great.

I just got this spring set and bump stops installed on my wife's 328 xDrive. it's the best $1,000 mod that can be done on this car. The body roll is greatly reduced, steering got sharper, and the car hugs the ground so well. This spring set should come standard from the factory.

The drawback is the car seems to be lowered a little more than 1" and the front body kit will get curbed if not careful. Also, for some reason the front seems to be lowered more than the back. Before the spring there's a 4-finger wheel gap in the front and about 3 in the rear, and after the install they both have around 2-finger wheel gap, which means the front is lowered more than the rear. Dinan advertised 1" drop for both front and rear and that's not what I experienced.

Yep. This is about the same as my experience. Worth every penny. Throw on an offset summer setup and you'll love it even more. Also keep in mind the springs will settle a bit. Definitely watch out for that front end. Glad my dealer has enough sense to back into the parking spots alter service !!

Talking to Dinan now. Bought the bump stops too and the car bottoms out over hard bumps. Odd thing is the bump stops have BMW part numbers on them vs Dinan ? Hopefully Dinan will make this right or refund my money. Springs and labor. Will probably hear from them tomorrow.

These are second gen springs for sure with the Dinan bump stops. Been calling and emailing with Dinan for days. Local authorized dealer even says there's an issue. Have to see what comes of this in the next few days.

Heard speculation that they are Z4 bumpstops hence the BMW part no. Do not believe its a mistake.

I don't have the electric shocks which is what Steve Dinan told me they used to R&D the springs. Not sure what model the bump stops came from, but they have BMW part numbers for sure. Asking for my money back including labor to install and remove since the product is not working for me. Bottoming out is unacceptable in my opinion. Took three trips to the shop to get Dinan to agree they were installed correctly. The fact they never even tested on non-electrical shock cars totally irks me.
