It's where i power my dashcam from so it's perfect for me hidden under the dash.

the main problem is the BMW key is so blooming big! It feels pretty light, so presumably full of air. Would be more convenient, and feel a lot more premium if it was smaller and weightier!

That's sadly impressive.

Keep mine in my pocket at all times.

Even have a special pyjama pocket and a special shower pocket.

No bastards going to sneak in and get my keys ... Ever

Did consider Nicks idea but not for long

In the trough of my seat, between the squab and the extendable thigh support. Did it in my F10 and now my F31 - I put it there now without even thinking about it!

I find the trouser pocket works fine. For those complaining that it is uncomfortable, you need to change your tailor.

They did rattle and little, also I hate marking inside of the car with things like keys or other stuff that scuffs or leaves long term wear.

Sooo, my darling wife seeing my plight, knitted me a little cosy for the cup holder.

Result, no noisy keys, they are nice and snug and happy :-)

PS, yes the ribbon may be a little too much ;-)

Is that an RSA SecurID?

Anyone know how to route a charger cable from this power outlet over to the driver's side, ie a hidden routing through the centre console area ?

I have a camera detector mounted on the right hand side of the iDrive display and would prefer to power it from the outlet under the glovebox rather than the outlet in front of the drinks holders.
