Thanks for sending that. Is there any particular material to be used or colour? - Also people in the UK where are you planning on using for printing?

After a ton of searching, I found someone with the skills and a printer large enough to print these out as one piece.
David S. of 3D Printing Chicago Email: david@3d-printing-chicago.com Costs is about $60 Contact him to get yours now! No files needed, just tell him you want the F30 BMW Ambient Light Bars. BTW The latest STL file has each piece the with same length (of about 20") but the fronts would benefit from another inch at the back (21") David is making another set for me with this added length. Another big thank you to awmenard for the latest file. Last edited by brikabrak; 09-14-2018 at 10:52 PM.. |

Do these show in the daytime when the lights are OFF?

It does feel overpriced as it's just plastic trim at the end of the day. Considering the difficulty I had in finding someone who can make them in 1 piece I think it's a pretty good deal though, especially as there aren't many alternatives. I also like the guy. I met him when I picked mine up in person. You can tell he just really loves making things and tinkering. |

View post on imgur.com (iPhone X quality looking poor at night). It's a subtle light that appears brighter than it actually is, in some pics.I sourced all OEM parts for this. The gloss black LED LCI AC Trim was $50 shipped from a BMW dealer website (search OEM part # 64119358940). The Y adapter I bought premade from this seller for $34 shipped, who used OEM pins and connectors to create it. I like the gloss black upgrade over matte in daytime, as well. |

Thanks for the details around LCI trim, I was about to buy one with Y adapter for 120$, but ordering the Y adapter separately and Trim separately saved me 30$ |
