I have less than a year left on my lease and am thinking of getting something else
From what I read the selling dealer can pay the payoff number or they can pay the remaining lease payments and return the car

If the dealer just pays the remaining lease payments who is responsible for any excess wear and tear, I assume it?s me but thought I?d ask you guys

You would be responsible for any wear and tear, including miles.

The scenario I was think of is if I trade my BMW to a Lexus dealer and they give it back to BMW FS
