Caliper Rebuild Kit

Greetings!

I'm looking for a caliper rebuild kit for the OEM Brembos but all I can find are the boots for the piston (34216857153 and 34116850935) and not the inner seal. I don't suspect I really need to replace those parts (I'm powder coating my calipers) but I'd rather have them in the event I find a torn boot/seal or tear one while removing them.

Or, if I could find out the size of the pistons, I could find a matching kit available for all the Subaru's and Evo's.

Anyone run into this?

Give them the year, model and VIN and they should be able to provide the kit.

What year is your 335i? Needing a rebuild kit for an F30 is a little unusual unless you"re seeing some leakage or are tracking or very high mileage with some hard braking.

Yeah, I'm wondering the same; why do you need to rebuild so soon?

He is powder coating the calipers, says in the first post. Which means they will be fully disassembled. Since they will be apart anyways, what better time to replace anything that may be worn, or anything that may end up damaged due to disassembly.

Centric 143.42041 will get you everything you need for the front and rear 3-Series M-Performance brakes on one side.

Comes with boots and seals for one side for the front 4-piston and rear 2-piston. You'll need two of them. Should run around $20 each, so $40 altogether.

That's awesome, thank you!

I was hoping to stick with OEM but having run Centric rotors on a previous car with no issues, I'll pick these up.

oh damn, I asked for references in BMW this week 34216857153 and 34116850935 and I thought that those inner rings would also come that I also need (for the same reason that you) clamps have been sandblasted and painted.

So why is BMW so useless to sell its half replacements? How can we get only those stamps? because if it is as I decide I will receive only the outer stamps and not the internal ones ..... and they have not been cheap precisely ... 140 € only exterior detents then.

Do you have pictures of your painted clothespins? How do I paint? the M logo got it in an original way? I am looking for the original logo as it comes from the factory in the clips with the medium gray and I see it difficult to get, on ebay there are some similar but not the same.

I'm also trying to rebuild some 340 f30 brake calipers as the dust boots are torn. The pressure seals are fine but the dust boot(s) needs replacing. I removed one of the pistons and measured it and it is in fact 40mm.

Stoptech sells dust boots that fit obviously Stoptech caliper pistons and most late model brembos. Does anyone think this will work or should I not waste my money? I'm kind of in need of a new dust boot that will fit as I won't be able to get these brakes on the car obviously.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

So actually doing some more research and looking at the actual brembo part number on the dust boot I found that a 40mm piston dust boot PN is BRE20.4872.46 (see picture)

Then typing that into google I found a company called HRP that sells race parts. They have a selection of brembo dust boots ranging in various sizes.

This this the link to a 40mm dust boot. Sold per boot @ $7.65 a piece. I'm ordering these as they should be the same exact part on the caliper currently.

https://www.hrpworld.com/bre-2048724...dust-boot.html

I will post back here again with whether or not these work. I'm hoping they will since the part numbers match. Hope this helps.

I can confirm that those dust boots with part number 20.4872.46 will fit the 4-piston Brembos calipers (mine are the reds and replaced the factory silvers) as I recently had to replace all of my seals due to overheated brakes.
