M Performance Brake System Dust

Hey everyone, is it safe to use spray-on ph neutral wheel cleaner with yellow finished calipers? I know anodized calipers like on the GT350 you CANNOT use wheel cleaner because it will damage the finish to the calipers. I'm guessing the M Performance brakes are powder coated and this wouldn't be a problem, but wanted to make sure.

I use simple green to clean off brake dust and have for 3 decades now.
And it’s perfectly safe on my purple calipers. Yellow isn’t special just don’t use harsh chemicals on them.

I can't imagine the finish on the gold ones being different than the blue ones on my car.

I use regular Griots wheel cleaner, the green one, without any issues.

Sonax Full Effect plus is the only thing worth using on BMW wheels.

It's like it's specifically made to melt BMW brake pad dust.
