Sun Visor Extender?

I'm coming out of a loaded 2016 X5 40e into a 2018 330i xdrive GT. Of the differences, the biggest one that has caused me to whine is the lack of a sun visor that extends when I use it on the side windows. I do a lot of east/west or, more accurately, sw/ne driving. Afternoon sun can be a bit annoying. The X5 sun visor slid on the rod and easily solved the problem. GT? No such luck. Apparently, the F-series had no sliding visor so there's no (easy) retrofit.

Other than a cheap add on cover that slides, any other options (squinting isn't an option...).

Other than that, I'm pretty happy with the limited time I have in the car.

I'd buy an aftermarket visor that extends, haven't found one.

Thank you! Amazon has a few to choose from.

I haven't seen any that I'd call BMW worthy. Not my BMW, anyway.

Bought this for the wife's Subaru. It was under $10 with a coupon.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07F2BC544...402ec8805f0INT

It blocks the mirror but she loves being able to extend both horizontally and vertically.

That doesn't look bad for what it is. I'd want an actual replacement visor, with the extension built in, like my 2007 Altima had, despite it being half what my BMW cost.

+ 1. It sometimes kills me that they have a feature like the passenger mirror tilting down in reverse (most brand new cars today don't have) yet a no built in extender for the visor which many cars have had.

I've been satisfied with VisorMates, found on Amazon. It doesn't go vertically...just horizontally, but with careful positioning of the elastic, it doesn't block the mirror. In black, like the visor, you really don't even notice them.

I have this waiting for me at the Lubbock house. I won’t be using it for a few weeks in all likelihood but I had other amazon crap to order so I added it to the cart.

I agree with Bill that it’s not BMW worthy, but my comfort on my weekend commute is more important than how it looks.

Looking to install a la z boy recliner in lieu of the front seat for my next mod.

Wonder if those Bimmermasterpiece guys could do anything, I think they make custom upholstered visors already. Maybe worth checking with them at least.
