Guy's I want some winter wheels for my Saphire Black 440i and I CAN NOT make my mind up on wheel colour, these will be winter use only as I have the M Sport pack and M sport plus with the 407M I think in black with polished bits on spokes.
I hate asking questions like this and have never had to before, but this is hurting my old head
Any thoughts gratefully received just an old guy having a brain fart

I vote for silver. Gunmetal is better than straight black, but in my view dark wheels make it look like you have a black hole at each corner of the car. In the states unmarked police cruisers have plain, black wheels, so having black wheels kind of makes your car look like a police cruiser.

I'll vote for silver since I'm not a fan of black wheels.

My current winter wheels are a dark-ish silver (not hyper-silver). They don't show the brake dust as badly as brighter silver wheels, yet they are light enough in color you can easily seem them and the wheel design.

Personally, I strongly dislike black on black as I think its a bit too thug/drug dealer new money vibes for me.

So, classy silver contrasting against dark colours gets my vote.

Wheels and tyres ordered, should have them mid week so will mount them on Saturday.
Went with medium gloss gunmetal finish.
Post pics when done.
Have gone with go flats too, let's see the difference from my M sport wheels on the run flats.

Put these on today, not been driven so suspension not settled yet.
Happy with them for winter wheels, my OEM wheels now in storage until the spring.
