M Sport Brakes Standard?

I've seen M Sport Brakes with Blue calipers. Is this standard with the MSport line? My dealer said no but they are definitely different from the M Performance brakes. Maybe its a European deal?

Here in the US, we don't get the colored M Sport Brakes, however, they are a little better than the standard sport breaks. Although, they produce a lot more dust and squeel.

The M Sport Brakes with the blue calipers were a £570 ($900ish) option here in the UK.

That's cray cray. Oh well, I'll probably get the M Performance or some other BBK anyways. I was just hoping the dealer was wrong and I might get blue calipers.

This has been covered extensively. No "M Sport" brakes for the US market. "M Performance" are available as an accessory, but not in blue. The brakes on the M Sport (pad compound) are unique to the application. Other minor differences for 328i. You'll find plenty with a search.

M Performance brakes > M Sport brakes, but cost a lot more and are dealer installed, not a factory option. No M Sport brakes in US for some bizarre reason.

M Perf brakes are also available as a port installed option as well, so you can order at the same time you order the car if you want. Same thing goes for the SS exhaust for the 335i.

The only differences between M Sport brakes and M Performance are the latter ones come with drilled and slotted rotors, the M Sport callipers are painted blue and the huge difference in prices. M Sport brakes cost $350 in Canada and M Performance brakes cost approx. $2300 in the US.

Both types of brakes have the same front and rear rotor diameters (370mm front & 345mm rear) and the same type of callipers.

If u're coming from standard brakes then that isn't the case, unless ur car already comes with M-sport brakes & u hate blue calipers.
If u have M-sport brakes already & want the slotted discs u can just get the discs on its own.

Should read available everywhere except US. For most markets it's a factory fitted option, only a few markets do they come as standard.

That is correct. The price for this factory installed option varies. Lowest price of $350 in Canada to over $1100 in Australia. Perhaps even higher in some far east markets ?

Not at all. It's a cost option in Australia, I left off the option list. Glad I did as standard brakes are perfect for me.

It's standard equipment for us. M-sport is only available officially in a few markets in Asia.

Seems literally like the only consolation BMW NZ offer its (M-Sport) customers after the very high base price of the cars. Good luck to the NZ M-Sport customers.
