Www.detailsocal.com or attntodetailsocal on IG. No bs, does proper work. Be careful who you let ceramic coat it.

Yup... I think ceramic coat are over price. There are new product (hybrid ceramic wax) out there, easy to apply and very forgiving when you mess up.

Ceramic isn’t overpriced. It’s the work it takes to get to the point at which you can apply ceramic. I don’t know anyone who’s ever coated a car without at least a 1 step. You’re basically paying for someone’s time and expertise.

It’s not a set it and forget it product. Don’t want to end up with something that looks hazy because it was done wrong. I’d also use a high quality sealant over any type of ceramic wax.

Your correct, ceramic coat about $90 on Amazon. Shop want $650 to 1000, hell no!!!. I wax mine once a year... and now that they have product like F1 and hybrid ceramic from meguiar ... I just do those on washes until its wax time again. This way I get to clean the car interior and exterior at the same time.

Proper ceramic coat application begins with paint correction - a labor intensive process. I am looking for a shop that takes the first step very seriously.
