I love the model specific Weathertech windshield sunshade I have for my e39. It is designed to perfectly fit behind the car windshield and it holds it's shape without any additional efforts. The dash is fully covered and it is wedged between A pillars.

Now, does anybody know if similar product exists for F34 (it has different windshield size and angle than regular F30/F31)?

Was anybody able to cross correlate to any other BMW model? May be there is similarity to any of the X models? - Some trimming to be done?

I have an OEM BMW accessories sunshade - ordered from GetBMWparts.com

The item # is 82-11-0-399-145 and it is sized for the F34 and also the E90/91.

It fits pretty well and I have to hold it in place by lowering both sun visors. Side-to-side fitment is pretty good too.

Hey, thanks for the info. Interesting to note that BMW online store in Canada https://shop.bmw.ca/p/BMW__/Sunshade...110399145.html says that the sunshade fits E90/E91 only. I will measure the E90 windshield tonight (I have access to E90) to compare to my F34.

As a follow-up, the BMW sunshade I have is actually made by Covercraft and it seems to be rebranded/sold through BMW accessories.

The Covercraft model is UVS100 and on a small sticker on my shade it indicates "2006 BMW 3-Series Sedan E90".

The shade itself is very nice, thick foam type material and came with a nice storage bag with a velco closure to keep it clean. Unfortunately it's so big it doesn't fit under the front seats or even in the back seats so i need to constantly put it in the trunk and then get it out every day which is a minor annoyance vs. a spring folding style shade that is more compact.

I guess the shade seems to fit more or less a variety of BMW models. Hope this helps.
