Make sure you use the proper oil, filters, tire pressure...maybe make sure the dealer changed the cabin air filter (which I bet they didn't), new wiper blades, and drive. With some enthusiasm at times so the engine doesn't get bored or gunked up.

Also, I will run Techron a few times a year in the tank to keep things 'treated' to whatever that stuff does. It'll clean the fuel system...keep fuel level sensors working well (if they're similar to what I had in my last bmw...maybe not).

Check fluid levels; trust but verify.

Before you get into any engine tune, you should change the charge pipe. They will eventually blow even at stock boost.

I am sure you can find a list of engine mods in the N55 sub-forum. Coding may be something you can look into in terms of "additional" OE features.

Define cool mods.

What do you want to upgrade? Power, sound or looks?

At 16k just change your air filter with next oil change
Upgrade your charge-pipe
And add some cool exterior mods like
M4 side mirror caps
Carbon Rear lip
Maybe some projector lights for your doors?

Remove the xdrive badge on the trunk if you have one. Cant stand how those look when I'm driving behind one.

Thanks for helping make my day a little more aesthetically pleasing

Edit: whoops, just saw it was a 435i. But all other xdrive members are welcomed to take note of my post

I was going to remove that and was thinking of debadging the 340i down to 0i as that describes how I feel many days.

I've removed the stupid yellow airbag signs. The hard part was pulling apart the connector for the visor. Much easier to take it out of the car.

91% alcohol did it for me...soaking on a paper towel...for a while...then rubbing it off. Not easy, but doable. Maybe an hour each?

I have complied with the style police and removed the xDrive badge, but I feel guilty about it now. I chose this tank; I'm not ashamed of it too much. It feels very solid in the rain on the NJ Turnpike.

If you have xDrive or non M-Sport suspension then probably a suspension upgrade, you will appreciate better handling much more than better looks. Also, a sweet sounding exhaust

Noooo 340i is a respectable badge! Not like you're running a 320i..

Nice, that's a young motor, keep it healthy. Mods are plentiful for your car, depends on what you like and your budget.
