Help needed!

Hi all,

I've been getting warnings about my fog and reverse lights failing on my F30 on the near side. I've checked the bulbs, they're fine, but the holder has plenty of rust on it. Tried a quick clean to see if I'd get lucky, but no joy. I've been scouring the net to find a replacement but I'm drawing a blank. Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance!

Good excuse for an upgrade to LCI LED units!

I had these warnings on my old F30 and it turned out to be a faulty earth.

Cheers for the replys guys. The eBay listing looks like the best solution I think. Jack, what did you do to fix yours? My car knowledge is pretty basic!

You need to sort out your water leak first or the new light will go the same way!

It was fixed under warranty so I'm not much help. They had the steering column casing off to do it though IIRC.

@999rigger do you think buying the full light unit as displayed in the eBay ad will solve that?

the rust looks like water damage to me which probably comes from a leaky seal around the light so it should but you need to keep your eye on it.

Must have a water leak somewhere I would be making sure the light is sealed to the car properly etc. I would use a wire brush and wd40 the rust will come off and save buying a new light housing
