Active Autowerke OBD Flash Software Update

Just a heads up for anyone with AA's flash tune.

After driving on straight 91AKI for a long while, I decided to go with a tank of E30. I usually flash at the gas station as I'm filling up or right after. After putting in 4gals of E85 and the rest 91 octane, I tried flashing my car but received an error saying the iFlash software was out of date and needed to be updated to the newer version.

On my way home, while driving gingerly, I called AA and they told me to uninstall the software and reinstall using the link on their website. Got home, did as prescribed, and was able to flash to my E30 map.

If you haven't done so already, make sure your AA flash software is up to date and working. Would've been nice to get some sort of notification so that I wasn't in a panic with an E30 mix in my tank and a 91AKI map loaded. But I guess all's well that ends well.

Good advice! its like remembering to break free the fill plug before you drain the transmission or differentials.

I've had maps for 91AKI, E30, and E40 for a few months now. Just was running straight 91 for a while and wanted to feel the corn juice power again so I filled and flashed.

It's fun. Definitely pulls harder than with 91. And my catless setup doesn't small quite as "bad".

Their catted dp is still being tested and hopefully will be available towards the end of the year. They are coming out with a big turbo kit as well in case you did not know.Good things are coming. The corn should work very well with this power setup they are bringing forward.
