Why remove anything?

Have you checked Head Unit to see if FDL Code MACRO_PIM = aktiv?

Logically, it does not make sense to delete options to give you something. Only exception is if there is decoding SALAPA (eg, 5AP or 8S4).

I’m guessing this has been asked a million times but I want to code my f30 340i 65 plate to disable/remember last setting for the auto start/stop. What do I need to do it and which guides are the best to follow as I got a bit confused with OP’s first post.

perhaps im in the wrong thread. i searched for f36 code mirror. My question: Is it possible to code the mirrors to close or open, when i lock or unlock the car?

edit* i forgot to mention i coded it with bimmercode. I am uncertain if there is a glitch or i am doing it wrong OR its just not possible? (because i have a button my door which controls the mirrors)

Yes. This is a generic code for F30, not specific to F36 (like most codes).

Do you own BimmerCode? I would recommend starting there...

yes i forgot to mention that... i have the Veepeak ODB2 and i have also purchased bimmercode.

I coded a few things, but the mirriors didnt fold/unfold.

Interesting... mine definitely do what you want them to do and did NOT when I got the car. So I know I coded it with BimmerCode (simple mode).


In the FRONT ELECTRONIC MODULE:

You need to enable Comfort Opening and Comfort Closing.

Then set the following to Active:

Unfold mirrors with Comfort Opening
Fold mirrors with Comfort Closing


That should do it.

you have a 4 series as well? I was reading somewhere that the 4 series wont work. i was just trying to clarify that.

I do not but I would be very surprised to hear that this code doesnt work on all F3X with power fold mirrors. Im not saying that isnt possible though... I just cant think of a rational reason why that would be the case.

You are sure that your mirrors do have power folding capability correct?

ya i did that via bimmercode and a few other things....other things changed but the mirrors didnt respond.

im not sure if anything additional needs to be done because its a 4 series.

You may want keep your mirrors fold in and then try to code in if it works mirrors will automatically folds out then you know it's coded in I had to do my this way and it worked.

Hi Guys

Does anyone know if I can code to enable Auto Start-Stop in Sport Mode? I actually like the fuel saving at traffic stops with auto engine stop, but have to switch back to Comfort mode to make it work.

This is different to the configuration in a F48 X1 - which from factory, has auto start stop enabled even in Sport mode.
