I mean I have a spare kit lying around. However, I don’t really want to blow it, lol. I mean a 50 shot jet, SHOULD be safe for most cars. I don’t really want to guinea pig it though.

Everything I have read that you have said on this forum I have considered gold...... right up until the point you said "LS Swap it"

Oh, only because he has a Corvette as well. I do not consider any LS engine as my top pick.

Got something against LS motors? I come from a Chevy family you know (mostly just my dad)...

Lol I mean, besides a 2JZ, what else would be your weapon of choice in a hypothetical F30 engine swap project?

Oh man... It'd be a tight fit but I think either an S85 or F154.

Good luck stuffing a 5.0L V10 in there. 3.9 V8 is probably doable though. I like where your head's at either way

We're getting super off topic, but I do agree on the S85, but if not, can't go wrong with an LS6, even better an LS7, or a 2JZ. Maybe I'd put the LS's in the trunk, I don't think 6 or 7 liters would fit any better than 5 Someone should do this...

Well, all we need is a rolling shell for cheap and then an S85+transmission. I think we could do it. Just remove the firewall. Don't need one of those, right? Or just rear mount it.

It should be eveyone’s top pick. 😂😂

Actually, I’m really impressed with the new mustang coyote motor. People are getting 900whp with just bolt ons. People with LS’ are only getting around 800whp.

One company did make 1200 stock motor on a c7 LT1, but I’m not sure how long that will last. It was a customer car too.

LS6 and 7 are meh. LS3 is much more desirable for power. Even better is the new z06 LT4 which is making 1100. Stock everything.

2JZ was great in the 90’s early 2000’s. So many better motors now though.

I agree with you on the coyote motor. Met a guy making 900whp+ on his and hot damn. Sounded absolutely beautiful. You could be driving on the highway and even though it was a 1/4 mile ahead of you, it sounded like it was right next to you.

The LS3 may be the more efficient power maker (the LT4 even more so), but I'd like to remind you the fist EVER GM stick shift car in the 7's in the 1/4 was a built 427 . Running with no coolant... It's actually a really cool story, take some time to watch this if you're into drag racing.

Anyway, I like the 2J almost entirely on cool factor and that's that.

My affinity with the LS7 probably stems from my cousin's heads/cam/headers C6 Z06. Relative to my experience, it's fast as hell and few things sound as good as that thing at full tilt.

There is definitely an argument for the Coyote's purely based on sound. Really badass and very unique sounding engines.

My tuner helped build that car. Haha. If you watch the wind tunnel vid they did recently of that car on 1320 video, my tuner was in the video and it was his c5z that they were comparing it against.

The LS7 isn’t a bad motor, and it’s definitely superior if you keep it NA. Once you start asking boost, it becomes very limited though.

Supras aren’t really my thing, but even to this day... they’re still head turners and they hold value like no other. Low mileage ones are going for $75k

It will still get almost 30mpg on the highway too. Motors are getting pretty ridiculous these days.

900whp, good gas mileage, and it drives like a good daily driver for $30k. I’m not a mustang guy, but I respect the car.

Haha damn that's pretty cool. Yah I saw the wind tunnel vid, I watch all his videos if I have time lol. Idk, I just think there's something cool about a TT 7.0L V8, or even an NA one in stock trim. Maybe I'm immature lol. There's definitely a good argument against it.

And yah, I'm really not a JDM guy at all. I like the Germans and the Americans and that's pretty much it lol. But something about the Supra... probably has something to do with the Fast and Furious movies.

Oh yeah, they definitely are. Like I said for my two picks, the F154... Ferrari is putting out some beasts.

I'm not one either but the most recent 5.0s are the ones I respect, so long as they don't hit me.

Been a Ford and BMW guy my whole life, I actually don't prefer the sound of the coyote. Burbles under water is the best way to describe them. However, they are performance beasts and I love them, I will stick with my terminator and the sound of the 4v 4.6.
