Surely someone else has run into this issue(rear rotor size)

2014 328d XDrive Wagon.

I'm having a hell of a time (so is Powerstop apparently) finding the correct rear rotor for this car. The 1st set of 300x20 rear rotors I was sent match in every way except they won't fit over the parking brake shoes. Looks like I need a 185mm hub diameter, not the 165mm hub diameter I was sent.
This is a bone-stock car, but it does have the M-package. I don't know it's the "M" that's causing the issue, or if it's because it's a wagon, but these rear rotors seem to be confusing. The 320mmX20mm rotors on the car are not Msport or Mperformance, just the basic rear rotors.
Has anyone been thru this w/ their F31 Xdrive wagon and have some guidance to offer?

Thanks

M has a larger rotor than base. Use this to find the exact size:

F31 M-Sport package cars didn't get any different brakes than base.

opinion914,

Sounds like you were given rotors for a 320/28i RWD model. Those had a smaller rear hub than the 320/28i xDrives. You need an AWD/xDrive rear rotor.

Thanks guys. The overall diameter is definately nothing unusual, simple 300mm base diameter. The drum brake hub is too small. Need 185mm as opposed to the 165mm I received.
I think you may be on to something Farkle. Fingers crossed PowerStop agrees.

I have this problem 2013 328 m sport. I went on rockauto ordered the supposedly correct rear rotors paid to put then on then find it doesn't fit my parking brake! WTF! I've Been driving around for over a month now without parking brake. So I went on realoem.com found what part numbers I needed and ordered front and rear rotors Zimmerman from eBay. Also got my pads from amazon

To OP, do check the part# stamped on the rotor, right next to "MIN TH" specification, and order the exact same part# for replacement.

+1. This is the best way to ensure correct part number.

Turns out I was shipped the incorrect rotors. If I went the OEM route I'd definitely use the stamped numbers. I went aftermarket though and it took some back and forth to get the correct set.

The rotors you were given are for an F20. Everything is the same except the hub diameter because the parking brake is smaller on the 1 and 2 series.
