EB 340i MPPSK - A24 Southwater bypass

Anyone on here?
Was about midday today (17/9) - you went past me (I was in work van) just after the first roundabout and onto the bypass. Car sounded awesome!!

Ah, could have been me

Was headed north past Southwater about 11:45am I think... being tailed by a grey Vauxhall Insignia I believe.

Did you come out from the turning opposite the Orchard restaurant? I was in the Fowlers van - I went past you after the Buck Barn lights, then you blasted past me after the roundabout - I stuck my thumb up out of the window as you went past and gave a flash of the headlights

I tried to catch you again, but you were gone and came off at the Tesco turning

Oops, yes that was me then I generally take a 'long' cut up that road and join the A27 by the restaurant as it avoids having to try and cross 4 lanes of the A24 from the Partridge Green side road. I had a black Cayenne behind me at Buck Barn so I pulled over to let him past (most Porsche's go off at much greater speeds than me) then I thought I'd have a little play with the new soundtrack. It's only been on the car a week or so

If someone is paying attention to me it isn't because of how courteous I am being

Get it done quickly as they won't be around for long. Absolutely awesome upgrade.

Pros:
  • Increased performance, esp. midrange!
  • Sounds brilliant (and you can still revert to stealth Comfort if you want).
  • C/f tips look so much nicer than stock.
  • Negligible increase on insurance (mine rounds up to £55 a year with LV).
  • There are still deals on price.

Cons:

It sounded bloody brilliant - like a thunderstorm shooting past! It's rare enough seeing another 340i, let alone one with MPPSK - and to hear it from somewhere other than the cabin of the car makes me love it even more!!!

Everyone keeps telling me it sounds awesome and is super loud but it's hard to judge from inside the cabin. Only ever had one quick ride next to another 40i MPPSK and it was a symphony of pops and bangs as we accelerated.
