Was thinking before I read this that BMW really should provide an option to ditch run flats........... only to read that this car was tested with 19's on MPS4S non run flats

Thats very interesting as before the only 19's fitted with non run flats were M cars.
(18" non run flats were an option on the F3x on certain models/configurations, but who wants 18's?

It is a good thing, but will likely be a £700 odd option like it is on other Gxx models.

Lets hope they've also fixed the lack of insulation and horrendous road noise, if so I'll be back in a BMW again from my S5, which is like a 7 series inside noise wise compared to my 440i

Was thinking this too, reviewer does mention you can hear but not feel bumps

will need to wait for full reviews to find out more about road noise

Agreed the review does not deal with whether the G20 deals with the worst aspect of the F30 road noise.

The review also does not say how much "wider" which is critical for me.

I would also like to know whether you can turn off the "artificial sound" in the 330i

So the 330i will now sport the wheel-barrow style twin exhaust.

Will be interested to hear how this car performs on the uneven, crumbling, pot-holed tracks that we call roads in the UK.

Indeed. I'm just back from a fortnight in Germany and can report that the ride is whisper-quiet on the pristine and billiard-flat road surfaces that they enjoy there 99% of the time. Albeit at the cost of an unbelievable quantity of summer road works.

Saw both the autocar and weekly ones briefly so thanks for the scan.

All sounds good but as usual it will be an option fest to get the best out of it. The lsd is part of an option pack so maybe added to m sport plus or similar?
Glad they have focussed on passive suspension mods as well.

Will tie in nicely for the big barge I have now to go back and big discounts to be settled in on the new g21.
