Quick update on my Stage 2 not hitting target boost.

Went back to my local Indy shop and there is no leak, anywhere. I looked over every scenario with them, o-rings and even a smoke test. No kinked vacuum lines...

So at this point its going to be the boost solenoid... Going to replace that next and see what happens.

But I did reinstall the stock map and I stayed even with my Target Boost so I am hoping its the boost solenoid that is out. Car is 2014 335i with only 30k miles, so anyone not reaching target boost levels, this may be your issue.

no chance at all. pwg is going down after 5000rpm to 11-11.5psi @ 6000rpm, while ewg can keep 14-15psi up to 6500rpm it will kill pwg easily. pwg turbo is crap and should be upgraded to at least stage1 turbo.

Well done MHD! I flashed the delete last night, and started my car up this morning to go to work. Immediately went to a quiet idle, I was amazed! You would think it was perfectly normal, no hiccups or roughness to it, or fluctuating rpms. Works flawlessly. Thank you!!

thought a pwg stg2+ on a solid e30 map was good for 400/450@wheels...?!?

this mhd beta e30 map may yet see more timing, boost or other trickery...

Purpose of cold start?

Is the purpose of cold start to warm the catalytic converter as quickly as possible in order to reduce emissions as quickly as possible; or does it also have something to do with the longevity of the catalytic converter?
Would it be acceptable to delete cold start if you have a high flow "sport-cat" installed or would that be eventually damaging?

Cold start is for emissions. It heats the catalytic converter faster, and making it efficient quicker.

Are you still under warranty? Maybe that would be covered? I have the the same year 2014, 335. I wasn't hitting targeted boost levels either.

Looking for some feedback, I'm currently running a BEF with a JB4 but I'm interested in trying OTS maps from MHD to compare. Has anyone done this yet?

Also, can anyone tell me if the top speed limiter has been removed on MHD's OTS maps? Or is that a flashable option still to come?

For whatever reason my car tops out at 130mph, which is a real bummer on the back straight of my home race track, Pocono Raceway.

I just ditched the BEF JB4 combo for OTS and I'm so glad I did. My JB4 loved to throw drive train codes and felt very rough (albeit the BEF is still being heavily developed, while MHD is almost at release). Power was not linear at all, but hit you all at once, and my shifts were really rough for some reason. Finally, I was running very lean, although that is common with JB4 users. But my car is running much better now, power delivery is stock and strong; I was hitting 17 psi on a quick run I did yesterday.

I'd suggest you scroll back a page or two to see the big discussion on JB4 that just happened on this thread.

I'll let someone much more knowledgeable explain this, but looks like a well known problem of hitting "torque limiter."

Coils are brand new and spark plugs are n20 spark plugs gapped to 0.25. I had the same issues on my n20 (timing pull) with the same spark plugs.. I think I will buy the original ones for my n55 (bosch) and gap them to 0.20.

I'm 6mt, thanks for your help!!
