Help with Android and iDrive
I am a long time user of iPhone but live android and really want to make the switch.
Reporting here from F10 forum as I know there is more activity. I have a 2013 535. I've tried a few devices... Samsung S4, Nexus 5, LG G2.... Kitkat and Lollipop OS and canny get music to play via USB as it does via the iPhone. Is there actually a way to get the playlists and folders appear in iDrive when using an android device as it does like with an iPhone? This is how i get it with iPhone

I have a 2014 428 w/ nav and this is what works with my LG G3 with a bluetooth connection:
I can play the music from my phone (MPG 1700 songs) with the song and artist info showing on my Idrive screen, I can control next & previous track w/ the car controls I can play Pandora as well, however the difference is I do not get any song or artist info in the Idrive screen, but I can control next track/song with the car controls Both play flawlessly in terms of sound clarity |
