Ah i get what you mean, it seems theyv ditched leds maybe because everyone eles is doing it. Theyv gone for a more subtle approach seen on the new 7, and 5er with the strokes of red lighting for the rear

Anyway, another question from my end, did anyone see the light strips on the side-mirrors active? I've seen the video of Autobilt (if I remember correctly), he used his blinkers but the side-mirrors did not show any activity. One momento, I'll find the video to show you guys. I was really WTF'd yesterday watching that.

Edit:
Check this video, at 01:47. Blinkers being used without side-mirror blinking in any way? Or is it just me?
I think the side mirrors blink...the strip is so think and from the camera andle it is hard to see.

Yeah, I think you're right. Such a shame, would love to see how they look (yeah I'm a detail kinda person )

Another thing that caught my attention, the DRL (CRings, Dûh) doesn't put on the taillights, is that normal behavior (on 3s)? Or is that just a camera angle issue too?

I love the styling but that Wheel gap has got to GO! 4x4'ing in an M-Sport is not very appealing.

I fail to see the "badass" factor of the new 3 series now. I don't find the newer BMW's aggressive at all. I mean, look at the previous generation 3 series, and the way the front and rear taillight were set up. The new taillights that are evident in the 5-series and 3 series, also look way to dull.

Am I the only one who thinks this?

I think the E90 looks much softer than the F30...i have owned both e90 pre lci and e90 lci. F30 looks great in mineral grey. If you need "badass" you might have to wait for a m3.

I don't feel the same way, but to each their own.

Can't they make it like E92 << this one is best looking so far and BMW make worst progress since.

i think the answer to this was the new safety standards.

Everything they use (front rings for DRL and tail light) is still LEDs, there is nothing yet replacing it. The only difference is that some manufacturers (like Audi) use individual LED that give a "dot" effect while some others such as BMW and Chevrolet (Camarro headlights) use light pipes attached to one or 2 LED in order to create the shape they want, but the source is still LED

The biggest impression I got was that in the interior the blue strip looks better than the red one in the Sport Line. Too bad that we in the US wont get this interior upholstery, instead we will just get leather seats.

Too bad that they didn't show how the 335i M-sport drives.

It looks sick with Estoril imo.
Would love some other wheels and black leather to an otherwise stunning car!
Btw, is the comfort seats coming over to the F3* this time?

I don't plan on buying the F30 until around 2014 or LCI Version comes out.. but I hope and pray that we will be able to retrofit that steering wheel to the E90.

In this car, I would take the alcantara over the leather.

Beautiful car. Not sure how I feel about the dash area though - somethings are improved, and others are worse. I personally like the sparseness of the current interior, but I would like it to be slightly more contoured to the driver.

There should be a rule for photographing this car.. NO wide angle close ups of the front end! Major derp-ness going on there.
