330e vs 328d

I just wanted people's thoughts between a lci F30 330e and 328d. What are some thoughts from an economy and reliability standpoint? I'm interested in the technology of the 330e but afraid of its expensive hybrid system but I also have had stories and personal experiences with diesel issues. Hoping someone from the 330e world could offer some insight.

How long do you plan on keeping it?

I don’t have direct experience with either, but reason I ask is because eventually all hybrids need a replacement battery. Quite pricey. Otherwise, I don’t really know of any major reliability issues with either.

The hybrid is the better performing car, but the diesel gets better mileage and will be overall cheaper to operate.

Planning on long term beyond warranty 100k+. How long do these battery's usually last?

The battery is warranted for 8 yrs/80k miles. Have you driven either of them? I like driving them both.

On hybrids that I have experience with, typically about 10-15 years or so before they start having issues.

As new as these still are, it may be a non-issue. But something to keep in mind.

I've had a 2017 330e for about a month now, so new to the game. I've gone 150 miles so far on 2 gallons of gas. The car handles well and actually feels pretty spry. I had a 2011 335d that had grunt and good mileage, but I really didn't like diesel as a matter of cause.
