Hi, Does anyone know where else I can get the updates from apart from BMW? I did have the latest update but rolled it back as I was having issues. If I go to BMW updates, it says I already have the latest update..... but I don't as I rolled it back, so it's not giving me the option to download it.

Replace the .bin file name in that URL to the file you're looking for.

Hi there, mine is F30 from 2013, when i checked the software update from the official BMW site, it says that i'm running the latest software. Is it true that in 8 years there is no software update at all for my car?

Thank you very much. I followed all the steps and it works perfectly.

Just a couple of remarks:

- FAT 32 format for USB drive. It does not work for NTFS format.
- It just worked by using the USB slot placed between both front seats (armrest), not the one placed inside the glove box.

I used the file called "UPD01008.bin" with last software version available.

Now Spotify songs are recognised by BMW's Bluetooth system and therefore now both song title and artist appear, whilst up to now the only information show at BMW's screen was "Various Artists - Various Songs".

I was wondering, is it required to update the BMW software before the navigation can be updated? Or can this be done independently? My car is a BMW320i F30 from 2015, it has never been updated before (for both regular software and navigation). I would appreciate some advice, thank you for your time.

Any help please I have f30 2013 base unit hu-cic with navigation on the 6.6 screen

I want to upgrade this screen size to 8.8 and I know my system can't be coded for that so I've found a head unit NBT with the 8.8 screen with idrive controller for sale as a package also from a 2013.

Can I retro fit this with coding also apart from coding is it plug and play ?
