Towing a camper?

Did you ever take a camper on vacation with your F3x? Care to share how it went and if you did it again?
EDIT: if you decided against doing it, why?
Thanks!

How big of a camper? In Europe it’s quite common.

Nice, any idea the approximate weight of those campers? No experience with them so I have no idea. I've been looking at getting a camper that my 330i can tow, but thought I would be limited to the small popup size due to the weight. I'm assuming those would have to be equipped with trailer brakes.

Sort of related, I tow an ATV behind mine regularly, unbraked. Total weight is maybe around 1000 lbs fully fueled. No trouble at all and the car feels capable of towing a good bit more power wise. I've read they can be rated up to 3500 lbs.

20ft long and 3,000 lbs maybe. The one my wife showed me has a torque weight of 315 lbs, I think.

According to this website the F30 should be able to tow 3,500 lbs if braked. https://www.autotrader.com.au/bmw/32...-capacity/2015 I have to say, though, that seems awfully heavy, but the trailers in those photos aren’t small.
