Limp Mode but no Check Engine Light
Last night was the first time I experienced limp mode. It just happened all the sudden, and the check engine light never came on. The issue went away after turning off the engine for about a minute, but I want to know what caused it and know if there really is an issue.
I have two aftermarket parts installed. The JB+ and BMS intake. Both have been installed for over a year. With Carly I got the error codes below. 101F01 122108 138A11 I read that the JB+ can cause 122108, but it is just a false positive. So I don't think it would cause the car to going into limp mode. The connections to the JB+ and intake appear to be snug. Any thoughts on the errors and limp mode? |

Any ideas?
I thought with limp mode there should at least be a check engine light.

I used JB4 for a year before I switched to Bootmod3. I went into limp mode once during that time while driving on the highway. I've read that this can happen with the JB4. There was no check engine light and the issue resolved after I restarted the car.

I still get the code 101F01 even after clearing it. I read elsewhere that it is a tuner code and to ignore. I haven't had the JB+ installed for over a month. I even replaced the TMAP sensor, and there is no CEL.
Is this something to be concerned with?

When I replaced the TMAP sensor, I noticed the hose clamp on the intake outlet of the Burger intake was no longer making a good seal. So I fixed that as well. Drove around for a couple of days, no check engine light on the dash, but when I scanned with Carly, I was getting 101F01 again. |
