% off Base List or OTR Price?

Hey guys,

Is the discounted percentage people are quoting off the base list price or the on the road price?

The best deal I've been offered is £7400 off £46310, which is 18% off the base £41150, or 16% off the OTR price of £46310. Just wondering how much further to push them?

Cheers,

Ray

How hard do you need to push to get 15% plus discounts?

Hi Guys

Really want to secure a good deal on a F30 330d M sport for March 14 (OTR 43k with options), so this thread is a good one

I can get 16% via internet broker, I was also hoping for an decent dealer/bmw contribution if I take on a finance PCP deal say 2-4k or is that wishful thinking?

Anyone know any dealers in the UK that are willing?

Cheers

Dazza you will get that anyway. Go onto the bmw site and having built your car you will see the contribution shown in the configurator.

No I think you are looking at 15-20% including dealer contribution

Not that hard mate, use someone like broadspeed to kick off negotiations...but it seems plenty are getting big discounts on higher end models...335d in particular

Out of interest chaps their seems to be a lot of speculation/hints on this forum about discounts and little in the way of hard facts. The OP raises a really valid point, for example for my order there is £700 for 'Delivery' £55 first registration fee, £50 fuel, £25 number plates and £140 RFL. FWIW, without wanting to piss my dealer off, I've gone large on the options and the discount is slightly more than their cost.

Hi , what is going the Audi or the Merc, fwiw I have a 430d arriving this week and only got 7.5% off list price, I could have got a little more from a broker around 10% but preferred going in and having a look etc.Discounts on the F30 seam really high to me.

I almost changed my mind and went for a new Range Rover Sport and they have 0% discount at present !

Hardly comparable vehicle wise to a 4 series just wanted something different.

Hey Scooba - Keeping the Audi in the household - mainly for the wife - I cant live with 20 mpg, spent £5k in petrol since March, Merc lease finished last week so got a hire car from enterprise (insignia). My F30 due to be built week 48, delivery in time for Xmas.

430d will be an epic car I'm sure, 7.5% is reasonable for a new, new car.

My deal is just over 43k on the road but I have over 9k of options which I am basically getting for free. List price is approx 52k. Servicing fuel road tax all part of the deal. Very happy with my deal

If you look at previous posts you might figure out where I ordered but under threat of death I've been told to keep quiet. Nah really the dealer has told me to keep it quiet and other dealers have been unable to get anywhere near my deal. Birmingham very close though

Same for mine. Although IIRC, those costs are included in the base list of £41150

Also, the Broadspeed quotes detail the discount being taken off the base list and not the OTR price. I think the broadspeed discount works out at 15%.

Has anyone received a discount of 17%+ on a 320d, or is it just the 330d & 335d that are getting the big discounts?

Also noticed that the Broadspeed discounts on 320d seem to have dropped in the last day or so, just specced one up and it was 'only' showing a 12% discount, down from 15% the other day?!

I had 12.5-13% on mine i was quite happy since i had to VT the other car and save myself nearly nearly £5000 on the negative equity on that. Its interesting to see what you guys are getting tho.
