Yes, I had the older coolant pump to begin with. The 1st time they ordered the new part number and it wouldn't fit my car. So, they had to put in a 2nd order and get the older model number which is the correct pump for my car. Apparently, the only difference is that the newer pump has a clamp, which cannot be mounted on the earlier production date cars.

Have had mine for almost 3k miles. Had the jb4 400 miles in. No issues 500 miles ago got the er downpipe no issues so far.

As for the car it's self. Very squeaky door sills 300 miles in

Once in a blue moon I do hear the rattle in the exhaust during cold start .

Angel eyes and tag lights have a different tone in color. (Passenger side whiter than driver side )

Biggest bother so far are those damn door seal creaks

I also have the door sill creaks. Very annoying. It's in all 4 doors. Also, one of the speakers blew out in the passenger door already. I just flipped 12k miles. Plan on taking it in to get the speaker replaced under warranty, just haven't gotten around to it yet. Besides that, engine is strong and pulls hard. The engine paired with the 6MT makes it enough fun to drive that you can look past the rest.

Is the door creaking a F30 3 series problem since 2012 or is it something that has only come about in the past couple years? I can't imagine it's only in the 340.

so far 1240 miles

door rubber tubing squeaking, i just applied some rubber protectant and sound went away, it was rubbing against the edge of the door.

i was hoping it wouldnt happen to me but while driving my HUD, navi screen, and tac numbers did a restart. i wasnt scared since i read it in around here somewhere but am disappointed that it did happen :/

jb4, bms intake, kw suspension going on soon

5,000 miles on my 340i.

Issues I have encountered:
1. The 1st gear "squeak" due to the tensioner belt. This happens ~20% of the time coming out of 1st gear.
2. Squeaky rubber on the doors.
3. My equalizer configuration and interior lighting color reset back to their defaults on their own. This only happened once.
4. Music from bluetooth sometimes plays quietly in the background during phone calls. This happens rarely.

THIS! I had this issue on my car and a little gummi pfledge stift (German for rubber care stick) has almost totally eliminated it! Got a stick from Amazon for under ten bucks shipped.

You don't even need to do that. Just wipe the seals with a damp microfiber towel and the noise will go away.

Not the case for all. Both my F30s are squeaky clean there and the noise is there. Lubrication or Teflon tape is the only way to stop it.

Why not do something that will actually help take care of the rubber seal while youre eliminating the sound as well? The damp mf isnt a long enough deterrent compared to the gummi stick...

I think I might have the highest 340i mileage wise. I'm at 13K Miles.

Haven't experienced any issues and nothing to complain about besides wanting more POWER!!!

yea the door creaking on mine is ridiculous...i wouldn't expect this much noise on a used rusty kia.
i would do the teflon tape thing but im waiting on a replacement car soon so i may just deal with it for a couple months

otherwise i could just pull second and third gear and I forget about all the problems

I'm at around 14k with mine, JB4 since 3k and it has been driven HARD. No problems yet, besides the ridiculous door squeaking and belt squeak during cold start sport shifts. Haven't seen a single B58 engine complaint come through my dealer yet.

I'm at nearly 16k miles and the only issue so far is the creaking door seals. Stopped by my local dealer last week and they agreed to apply the Teflon tape as a, hopefully, permanent solution.

I take my car in for an oil change every ~6k miles, which comes out to every 4 months or so. Every time I complain about the seals and they clean and apply the gummi pflege which works for about 3-4 weeks. According to the dealer, only my F30 and a newer 1-series are experiencing the same issue. Not sure if I believe that, or just the two of us have complained about it.

Occasionally on cold starts I do get the stumble out of idle. My guess is that it is related to the quality/type of the fuel. Sometime it happens with a tank, and most times it doesn't. Overall, it's about a handful of times.

No issues here on the B58 engine except the 'stumble' or rough idle after initial start once the RPMs go below 1000 and how the engine acts like its a cold startup everytime the car is started, regardless of how warm the engine is.
This happens with my 340i.
Of course the dealership service people said it was the first time that I seen this, but of course the 340i is relatively new, and most 3/4 series they sell are 320i's and 328i's.
Still, I know I an not the only 340i owner who has this idle issue.
My service writer claims he put the problem into BMW and it's database.
So, that means that even though local dealers may not encounter this issue, BMW in general should have the 340i's that do have this issue, and it's not just 1 or 2 of us.

BMW needs to fix this, and I would prefer sooner.
They are usually pretty good about these things, but with this idle issue they are really dragging their feet.
Perhaps it's time that we started pushing. I'm due to a yearly oil change in a few weeks, and I'll push the tech and service writer to verify this issue with BMW and I want something in writing that BMW knows about it.

How come you're awaiting a replacement car? Have you had the engine replacement recall?

I can also confirm that my car has the squeaky door seals. Annoying as hell. Along with that, i also get the squeaky belt noise in between shifts after a cold start and I get the really annoying rough idle.

Just about to turn 12k miles. I randomly have the belt tensioner noise but only with a cold motor and AC on.
