seat covers

I'm hoping to hold onto my car for many years and i would like a decent well fitted seat cover (Drivers seat only) to protect the leather sports seats. Can anyone recommend any?

I have the Northcore seat covers. They’re not well fitting, but they’re hard wearing and waterproof. I play a lot of sport so the last thing I want is sweat-ruined seats. I don’t care if they look naff either, they’re simply fulfilling a purpose. I have them in both of my cars (in the SUV they actually look alright).

Do you remove these as an when?
I don't see the point to be honest. Surely you want to enjoy the leather seats???

Nope, I just leave them on. I do want to enjoy the seats, but I don’t want the leather to wear on the bolsters, or get any marks/splits in them. As I’m planning on keeping my car for several years I want to enjoy the seats after I stop playing sports.

They’re easy enough to remove if I do want to take them off, but it’s just a hassle remembering to put them back on so I just leave them on permanently.

Beaded seat covers are nice.

That was the point I was trying to make. Surely they just look a bit meh...
You own this car and all of the bits in it.
For gods sake enjoy it, and worry about wear later!

Don't you have to be careful with seat air bags?

Get a leather seat cover made to measure including air bag slots?

These guys are doing my camper van right now.
Their work is exceptional.
