Has anyone else noticed that the rubber seal between the window and the wing mirror has folded in on it self?

I can pull it back but it returns to this position. It's on both of my wing mirrors so thinking poor quality from bmw or suppose to do that?

Attached is pic, note I have wind deflectors but this is not the cause cos it was like this before fitting hence why I spotted in first place.

Top is out and as the rubber to goes to bottom it folds in behind the mirror.
