Please could someone who has Pro Nav but not EBT help me with a query.

Basically my question is what can you control by voice commands? In particular I don't want to stream music by BT, connect more than one phone or use office functions so I think I don't need EBT.

I just want to know that with Pro Nav

- my phone will connect via bluetooth and that I can press the button on the steering wheel and say Phone Home etc

- I can press the button on the steering wheel and control the sat nav (e.g. enter a postcode etc.)

Sorry if this is very basic. I'm sure the answer to these questions should be yes but the BMW website is about as much use as a chocolate teapot in explaining what the Pro Nav does and doesn't do.

I didnt spec EBT and i have all voice commands with ProNav.

Yes, I have ProNav and no EBT and have full voice control and can connect phones via BT

Another forum member helped me although I read up online about it first just incase he was busy. I don't think it would've been too hard to workout but the best part about having help was the morale support...and boy do you need it when you do your first piece of coding!!! The car shuts off briefly, bongs go off and all sorts of other stuff happens to make you think you've just broke your £50k car!
I managed to buy a cable and install the software myself. I got myself a token because I coded a lot more stuff at the same time.
