The worst part about train journeys is the intermittent phone signal but luckily it's been absolutely perfect. I've been thoroughly entertained by this but In all honesty neither of you is going to one up the other unless you actually go fight.

Short of that happening, why don't one(or both) of you just let it go and stop reading and replying on this thread.

I've been on here less than a month I think but this is the first time I've felt like I'm amongst the commonplace trash-talking 12 year old CoD player.

Not really, fill yer boots. The OP who started this bizarre ranty thread has gone quiet. Me? I'm just bored and have got nothing better to do.

Can't be bothered to read the four pages of this thread but get the point. I bought a 320i because I wanted one, and paid cash for it. I could have had a 340i if I had wanted, but didn't.

Everyone has a choice, but just because you have put a couple of grand down on a 3.0 litre with huge monthly payments don't mean it's better!

Don't worry man. 2.5 litre TT RS and Cayman S for example are better/faster than 3 litre F30.

Even 2.0 variant is way faster than 3.0 litre F30. So, bigger litre doesn't always mean better.

Just ignore people if they don't like 2.0 engine.

Oddly enough, the only person who's saying that it's better is the OP.

I think this is the first time I've ever come across any real disharmony on the UK forums...must be a sh1tty day in late January I guess....

However, while everyone is looking, I've got this problem with my windscreen washer jets, they are what can only be described as undersquirting...anyone got any ideas what could be wrong?

One of the best engines in the world is a 2.0 litre, an F20C

Shit, I've just bought a 1.6d civic. I must be on a similar level to a caveman 😂

To put a different slant on things, should it not be about what car you own as opposed to what you drive? Either way this one-upmanship society we live in isn't too healthy.

Surely only x40i engined cars are "proper" BMWs? All this 4 pot and tractor engine talk just will not do.

Key cases look rubbish as well while im at it, thats what pockets were invented for.

Losers.
Tanzanite blue sucks balls though? There's a reason bmw make you pay extra for it, they don't really want to sell it?

Plus it's the preferred choice of the elderly. Just saying.

It must be a really slow month wherever you're based as it's been February in the U.K. For a little while now

Far from getting the point I fear you may have missed it completely as a result of not having read the initial post and associated link at the start of this thread!

The insults on the original thread started before engine size had even been mentioned and the OP of this thread was actually the one who chose to fan the flames and raise (lower?) everything to a different level. Therefore, for him to start another thread to talk specifically about how obnoxious some people can be seems a bit strange.....

The engine size thing also appears to be an issue only in the eyes of the OP as I can't see anywhere where Drek said a 3 litre car is better than a 2 litre car. All he did was tease the OP about fitting lots of M-Performance extras to a 2 litre diesel but at no point did he say or imply they'd be better utilised on his 3 litre diesel hearse!

Still, let's not allow the facts to get in the way of a good argument!

I don't understand
The windscreen washers don't work
I can't see a f*ckin thing
Meanwhile Dreks riding Caz,
And my key wants a classy cover

The BMW water comes highly recommended. Failure to use it results in catastrophic engine failure the month after warranty expiry.

Oh Christ not good.

Have you used the BMW branded air for tyres as well? - I'm thinking of trying that.
