Compare tool?
I have over time done many changes to my car (FDL coding). Now I feel quite locked in case I want to do any VO coding. (Always write down any changes you do )
Is there any way to save the current coding and compare it with the "standard" coding? Is there a toll that can this? |

If you save the current CAFD (ncd-file) for each ecu you have a backup if you need it later.
You can find the current codings in the folder C:/Data/CAF. So copy all the files from there in a safe folder. If you want to compare the changes before and after a coding session you can use the NCDCAFDTool from Tokenmaster. https://mega.nz/file/BbgghYoZ#UZBaK3...ekylOXquJT3qCA But this will work only with older CAFD. There's still another way to compare. If you have opened a CAFD in E-Sys in the FDL Editor you can save these codings as FWL file (top left and File and Save as FWL). This FWL file can be opened with a text editor. If you use for example notepad++ you can open 2 files at the same time and compare these 2 files. Notepad++ can also compare these 2 files automatically and highlights the differences in color. |
