Newbie needs help
I recently bought a 2017 330i XDrive. The stock 407 wheels were nice but one had a bend in the front of the rim. I wanted regular tires because i hate the run flats, so I got a set of 220M wheels to replace it but wanted input on how to go about it. I have no clue about ET and offset. Can i run these on my car, or should I look elsewhere and sell the 220M's. Im not lowering the car and don't want to damage the transfer case, suspension or anything. The rear does poke out a tiny bit, but is there any way to either change tires and make this more of a factory ride.
Staggered stock set up with factory 407's Front - 19x8 ET 36 / 225 40 19 Rear - 19x8.5 ER 47 / 255 35 19 220M's Front - 19x8.5 ET 29 / 245 35 19 Rear - 19x9.5 ET 22 / 265 35 19 |

The rear wheels are too aggressive for your car. See the result: https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1665114
If you really love these rims, you can consider replacing the rears for another two fronts for square setup and wrap all in either 245 or 255 tires. |
