"weird" is bit of understatement. I think this is the reason why 335 was not in press event, otherwise they might not have got such good reviews about new N20. Instead there could be reviews "pulls hard, but sounds like diesel while idling".

Not sure what your talking about...i have driven a 2.0t a4 and its rough as hell. In fact i was looking at the B8 before i decided to order an F30...the engine sounds funny, but i will be in the driver seat and i bet that little N20 is gonna pull hard. Cant wait

Great review indeed.
And yeah, the sound of a four pot engine sucks. That's one of the reasons why the inline 6 is so legendary in Europe (where 90% of all cars are 4 pot).
