Service interval coding

Does anyone know where to code this? I've found a couple places in KOMBI, but not sure.
I want to reduce the Service Interval from 20k KM to 10k KM.

It's in the VO and you have to code the DME. Depending on how old your DME firmware is you might have the flash the DME first. I had to flash DSC and DME together on my 535i. After that it doesn't get reset until you do a service interval reset for which I used Rheingold. Also remember the engine needs to be off for coding the DME. Also this will be the preconfigured intervals from the BMW option in the VO, not a random interval you can choose. This is really for bringing older cars with the longer service interval up to the shorter interval the newer cars have.

Just an FYI, I believe the ISTA+ has the ability to change the CBS Service Interval.

I've seen it on my ISTA+ but have not used it. Perhaps someone else can confirm.

You can reset in ISTA, you can't modify the intervals.

Thanks. What's the new FA if I remove 8KL?

I've done it on mine but can't remember specific s off hand.

Change the FA to one with shorter interval - just google. Then you need to VO code at least the DME. I also did kombi and a few others I can't remember.

But all you do is just drive around for a few km and it will change to the lower interval. No need for ista or anything else
