INPA/Tool32 Battery Registration Issues
Hi all,
I have scoured tons of posts on how to register the battery using INPA. However each time I try I cannot find the correct module to run the reset. From what I've read, it should go like this: 1) connect and open INPA (no prob here, coms are up) 2) F5 to choose the chassis (F30) 3) select 'Body' and choose 'Power Module' this is the issue, I only see 4 options under the body category: Body Domain Controller BDC Front Electronic Module (FEM) Rear Electronic Module (REM) Embedded Heating and Air Automatic I'm running V5.0.6 so I think that's up to date. I have not found a single post on the F30 chassis either. I also tried Tool32 loading the F01.PRG but again don't see the corresponding options. I'm about to break down and buy the Carly app and adapter but that's ~$120 (adapter and full software version) which practically eliminates the savings doing the battery job myself. So, am I just doing something wrong or do these methods only work on the E series cars? Thanks! |

Try with the FEM (Front Electronic Module).
That should be your FRM and CAS together. |

Hi All, I get the same error when trying to register battery. Where do I get the ipo files for f30 battery registration, and how do I add them to inpa pls I saw the advice about using ista, the links to good versions in forums seem to have been disabled. I have a working copy of inpa so thought it might be simpler to get the right ipo files for inpa. Thanks in advance |
