BMW Assist not working
Not sure if this has happened to any of you so far but my SOS, BMW Online, Internet, Concierge on ConnectedDrive is all greyed out saying that there is no network connectivity.
When I press the SOS button, it will attempt to establish a call and will take about 5 minutes for it to timeout before saying call failed. I think my SIM card may be either deactivated or faulty. Has this happened to anyone before? I'm on the new NBT2 EVO system.

There was a thread with two guys who imported US cars to Europe and this is exactly how the ConnectedDrive behaves when there is no network. I've used E-Sys and was able to communicate and read the ATM module so the telematics module is still active and working. The issue definitely lies with the SIM card.

My friend was able to retrigger ATM with ISTA-P and everything works again. Took 5 minutes.

I am getting similar issues - but it is very intermittent.
All BMW On Line functions will be OK at one time - then later that day they all get slow or go away completely - then later - or the next day they are all back again. This has been for at least the last 10 days or so. Have checked with BMW Cust Service and BMW Assist - they know of no system problems - say to just take it to the dealer for investigation. I note that the other person having this is in Toronto Ontario - and I am 100 miles west in London - Hmmmm - server issue??? But also now getting a message saying "internal error - try later" - so this is confusing. Jim Cash |

Now I am wondering if this might be "partially" related to the recent "Rogers" outages. I know they carry the BMW network - but Rogers said the outages were supposedly just related to voice and text. So was the BMW data communications affected or not???

I hate to bump the old topic, but I have an identical situation, starting a few weeks ago, nothing works (BMW Online, Mobile Care, Hotline, SOS, Messages), so I want to ask if anybody managed to solve this problem
