mine was also this big, but i used a stanley knife and cut it to the right dimension!

It should be possible. Of the launcher can be changed or duplicated.. I got a part exctracted but I dont have enough.programming knowledge to actually do something with it....

I got it the other day. It definitely seems to happen when I unlock my car and don't start it right away. I tried to shut it back off, let it sit for a minute or so, and turn back on but that didn't resolve it.

same here and i also don't think there is an improvement with the latest software.

Seems the same to me. I'm convinced when the car is open, some sort of power or signal is sent through the factory harness that screws up the booting sequence of the Android unit.

Can you guys check with ES File Explorer, if you have crash log files in above path?
Can't do it myself until thursday...

A crash log file can help to find the cause for "No Signal" issue!

If you encountered 'no signal' issue again, could you please check if you have a crash log file in "/storage/emulated/0/log/" with ES File Explorer?

Btw I installed previous software version again (20180622). It runs more stable.

I noticed that I also had the.idrive navi on and when I rebooted it also didnt ask me to continue to my destination but simply show me the route.
I second your opinion that it is this remaining power signal that is likely the cause.

Not all extractor apps show the menu launcher btw, ive tried 2 and one of them did. (Cant remember which one... sorry)

You cant.

Even if you find some magical way to do it, the apks will be killed in the background after a few seconds.

Its hard coded in the source code, and there is no way to root the unit or enter the bootloader.
