I think we've got the same system.. It should be cic, BUT the connector behind (the one in the last picture) has 6 pins, so you need to buy the NBT Andorid Screen..
At least that's what I've got in my car, and it works well.. Hope this can help you! Anyway, just trust the seller, so if there will be any problem you can say that it's their fault!

Some random thoughts about it:
- Works well, just need to download the latest software version;
- The knob is integrated quite well.. I can rotate it, click it and I can use the "back" button as I prefer (I've set it to go back, it seems more logic, but you can also use that to activate Siri for instance).. Just those 3 knob buttons are available, but they are enough,at least for me;
- I can use the steering wheels buttons to turn up/down the volume;
- If I open and then close the Bluetooth or music app on the Android screen when CarPlay is running in background, then I can also change songs with the steering wheel buttons;
- Having such a big display is nice with CarPlay;
- When I receive calls it switches back to the OEM interface (because I'm using the oem Bluetooth), but just by clicking a button on the steering wheels it goes back to the CarPlay interface;
- When I use the rear camera the audio stops, and when I remove the reverse gear the volume is much higher than before (wtf!?)


Honestly.. I would buy it again.. You have to consider that it is not an OEM CarPlay, so it has some limitations, but it does its job..

Just finished the update. Boot time is 41-42 seconds, I THINK the upper icons for wifi, Bluetooth, clock have been slightly changed. Everything looks OK, if I find any issues I will report back

Do you see a new icon “ no sim “ I think on the status bar ?
I have it after the latest update.
And I do not know how to remove it !

Confirmed. I also upgraded to the latest version and the "no sim" icon is on the status bar. Not that it would disturb but kind of funny. On the other hand it makes me think if there is somewhere a device with sim card included. That would be quite useful.

The upgrade itself went fine without any surprises. Not sure if the device is performing slightly slower than before of if it is just a feeling.

I did not see anything else changed or added to this version than the "no sim" icon. Everything seems to work fine.

Upgraded to the latest version 20190114. Number of options ie Earlier versions had different NBT versions now it just shows 2. I have not tested all of it yet. Carplay does not prompt for the USB option atleast when I tested once. Will be on a 8 hour drive tomorrow will post more details

Upgtaded too and tried one more time to upgrade MCU... I got the same s*** again "upgrading, pls wait" forever... My unit is almost useless a month now cause there is no audio out, probably because that only time that mcu upgrade worked, accidentally took an NBT version and the unit is CIC... Koutsouk if I rename the file to forceupdate as u stated in earlier post would that make any difference??

It will make for Android part. Not for MCU.
I am trying also about the MCU. I want to get rid of the auto brightness when the lights are open but no luck !
Someone should ask LUIE about that. He does not respond to my questions.

Hi all,
I have a chines no brand unit. Having very similar problems listed here. I am tempted to upgrade the firmware and MCU but don't have any backup and kind a scared to mass something up. I am attaching a screen shot of my system. Can anybody tell me if the firmware and MCU files shared here can be used for my unit.
