Are they needed on our f series? Was told they weren't needed for our cars but need some more input. Fbo, fx-150, pi, 93 octane btw

From what I have seen the need for upgraded ekp depends on the degree of lpfp demand.

If you have an upgraded lpfp but are only running 93 and stock turbo, it's unlikely the stock ekp will hit its limit.

However, upgraded turbo and e85 mix will begin to tax it.

You won't know until you test your stock ekp with your set-up. If it is overheating, you need an upgrade.

With your hpfp and current fuel octane. I don't think the need for the PI has come into play yet. You will be hitting an octane ceiling before you hit a fuel supply ceiling.

it's the truth.. you may or may not. some people don't need one and some people do. if you're worried, just get one.

I'm not worried tbh. Just running 93 with a daily map. Not trying to push it to hard.. for now at least lol. I guess I'll just have to wait and find out then🤷🏻*♂️
