Limp mode everytime Im Low on fuel

So, about a month ago my 318d started with this behavior. Every time i go close to fuel light lighting up and I apply 75% throttle or more my car goes into limp mode and says it's something wrong with the drivetrain. I've cleared the fault 2 times now this is the third time it comes up.

This is the only fault code that it throws (see picture)

Anyone knows what's up? Should I be worried?

I'm driving from Sweden to Italy this Wednesday, so would like to fix it by then!

Thanks!

I didn't run my codes but i actually ran into this when i was driving last week, transmission malfunction and low gas came on about the same time and i was in semi-limp mode.

You need to see which way the rail pressure is deviating.
Worst case scenario, your HPFP is going out.
Good scenario is your rail pressure sensor.
Fuel filter is good to look at too.

Found some english for you.
0x247500 rail pressure plausibility mass controlled: rail pressure too low/positive deviation

Can you log or look at rail pressure live values somehow?

Thank you for your answer

The pressure is indeed sometimes too low.

The fuel filter was changed in August last year.

I've since cleared the code a couple of times, it has come back, but it only shows up when I apply full throttle and the tank is at a quarter or lower, if the tank is filled above a quarter the issue is not present at all. When it is present it goes away if I turn the car off and fill up the tank, so I suspect a failing in-tank fuel pump!

What do you think?

Hello,

I’ve been getting the same error. 247500 always appearing on low / quarter of fuel tank. Have you managed to solve it?

Thanks for answer.
