F30 328i Luxury Line, Melbourne Red / Dakota Beige Leather with Walnut trim,
Premium, Tech, Window shades, Heated front seats, Fold-down rear seats, PDC/Reverse Camera, Xenon lights, and Assist. I think the color is amazing. The color changes character dramatically with changes in light. It goes from a red/orange to a deep red depending on the amount and angle of the light. Here are a few pictures; not the greatest quality (I only have a little point-n-shoot camera) and nothing that hasn't already been posted a hundred times already. Digital cameras just don't seem to do justice to this color compared to seeing it in person. I haven't seen a picture of it that really captures it. Plus, this car is a real kick in the ass to drive; just incredible! |

Hey guys,
As my username suggests, I am coming to the F30 community from the Z4M community. I just recently moved to FL and need a practical car that actually has trunk space. So far I am loving the car! Its suspension and brakes are a tad soft compared to the M but its still been a great car so far and just as fun to drive. Sorry for the crappy iPhone pics and the slightly dirty car. Just drove from NJ to FL so its had quite a few run ins with bugs.

That day finally arrived and I couldn't resist taking a couple of pics on the way home...
...and here's a thing, handy tip from the salesman - with the latest update you don't need the Y-cable to connect an iPod, just the standard USB-to-30pin cable works just fine, so that's my 80Gb iPod Classic sorted then Oh and the colour head-up display... brilliant!

Ok, maybe I teased you a little, but I finally got a chance to take a few better pics of my driving machine now, so thought I'd share them. Please note, all I know about photography is pretty much how to switch the camera on, aim it then switch it off. (Actually, same goes for cars pretty much!)

...and the bits I didn't order as I was already waaaaay over budget

Well, the topic title says it all. I finally managed to mount the wheels on the car.
When I first got the wheels I ran into some fitment issues but Ben@Wheelboutique and Tito@HRE were SUPERB in fixing the issue. Without hesitation they took care of it. How both WB and HRE handled the issue is perfect and how they treated me when I got the issues is almost more impressive than the wheels! Unfortunately the weather here has been really bad so my car looks like crap. But at least this gives you an impression of how it looks. Coilovers are going on the car first thing next spring, next mod will be winter tyres... |
