Press the SOS button in the car and you will be connected to BMW Assist. They will provide instructions. Let us know if you are successful. There are problems with some 2014 Canadian cars getting it set up; hopefully yours will work and has been set up correctly.

I thought you just set up your connected drive account online....BMW then sent me a password..it took a few days..
BMW then add all your details on their database.

As I understand it they will provide instructions verbally. They are available 7x24. Good luck; for some the process seems to work in days; others have been waiting weeks/months for the service to be activated. There seems to be a glitch impacting some Canadian 2014 models. Let us know if it works. |

I was told when I picked up car, press the SOS button and say you would like to do set up for the account.
Do it when you have min 20 minutes to idle around. since i bought a used car, they also update their database to indicate your address for recall information or when you need to call for roadside assistance. (very similar to AMA) |
