RPMs Jumping Up while Braking
Hi All,
I’m new to owning a BMW so please bare with me as I try my best to explain the issue. I’ve noticed a slight decrease in my mpg which I assumed would be the new tires. I started to pay attention more to my dashboard while driving since I noticed a 2 mile drop per gallon. While driving the rpm’s are steady but when the brake is pressed to slow and stop, I have noticed that the rpm’s will jump continuously between 1 and 2 then drop eventually when stopped. I’ve scoured google and can’t pinpoint any true cause. I have a 2015 328i GT F34 with a VRSF charge pipe, VRSF intercooler, Injen cold air intake, and MST boost inlet pipe. There is no tune done to the vehicle and have not found any boost leaks. I appreciate any advise you may have. |

Hi there! Ghosts of the past, come back, over again, once more in my life…😂 Sometime I had the same exact issue…Reason: the car mat was so high up the foot rest, so whenever I stepped on my brake, I got revs going up, always at a specific point. Because the mat was pushed by the brake pedal, was also pushing on the gus pedal 🫣🤣…This issue troubled me a lot until I find the reason…I wish my english are easy enough to understand…😇👊🏼😈
